I am a foodie for sure! I would even say that I can be semi-adventurous at times, usually when alcohol is involved, go figure. Here are a few things I have tried -
Alligator Cheesecake at Jacques Imo's in New Orleans. Not sure why they call it that, it's more like a quiche than a cheesecake. Point being - I have eaten alligator and it was definitely one of my top 3 BEST meals ever. http://jacques-imos.com/
Turtle Soup at Commander's Palace also in New Orleans. Not a fan. http://www.commanderspalace.com/
Crispy Pig Ears at Ink in Los Angeles. I will eat anything that Michael Voltaggio makes. http://mvink.com/
Waaaayyyy too many types of fish and slimy things at Nobu. Both Malibu and Vegas locations. http://www.noburestaurants.com/
And Mushroom Toast at Luce here in Norfolk. Now, I know that doesn't seem exotic but I dislike mushrooms. I mean REALLY, REALLY, dislike mushrooms. However, Chef Tony's mushrooms are amazing! I plan on trying the Wild Boar Ragu one day. A day when I arrive before it's sold out. https://www.facebook.com/LUCE.245Granby
